Our Mission
Harrisdale Homestead Mission is to contribute to rural economic and social vitality through activities that promote locally-produced foods and public health, contribute to public understanding of our food system (including diverse types of agriculture), advance agricultural sustainability, cultivate community, and foster democratic participation and leadership.
Goals for Harrisdale Homestead 2020-2025:
Assist community organizations and initiatives (such as healthy Cass County and the Cass County Local Food Policy Council) advance a supportive community environment for fostering health and well-being.
Assist community organizations and initiatives in advancing our community food system by increasing the availability, accessibility, and appreciation of locally produced food.
